YWF Rant 10 07 07 Evil Bastards

I just caught this on the UK’s ITV morning news. These three evil bastards kept victim Kevin Davies, an epileptic sufferer, hostage in their garden shed here in the UK for 4 months before he died and for what? They claimed he owed them money and were cashing his welfare checks while he was a hostage. They got 29 years between them for their crimes. Yet again, the reason this evil shit goes on is simply because the punishment never fits the crime. They should be locked away forever but this did’nt happen because experts were not able to prove that his epileptic condition was not a possible factor in his death. In horrible video footage his captors took of him he looks ill and under weight to me plus they also gave out ‘punishments’, basically torture, to him (These are not in the video). They even bullied him into saying he was there of his own free will.

What makes this even more shocking is that it did’nt happen in some squalid run down suberb, it happened in a quaint middle class town called Bream. Neighbours had no idea what had been going on.

A basic principle of treating each other with a bit of respect is to treat other people you meet how you would like to be treated your self. If you don’t do that then your punishment should fit the crime as an example and deterrent to others not to do it. Just like most news involving a death these days, it’s in the news for a day and then quickly forgotten because we are all becoming ‘numb’ to bad things like this are these incidents are becoming far too common. Let’s not forget that this is always a life sentence for every victims family.

(PS - I’m not sure how long the news article on ITV’s website will last, so my link to it will probably be useless after a certain amount of time. After this point Kevin Davies is really one of the ‘forgotten’, except to his family.)
