How to get work employment (jobs) on cruise ships! The cruise ship industry is contantly expanding! Get work employment (job) on cruiseships & get paid to travel!
I worked on cruise ships for almost a decade in the Casino Department as ‘Casino Slots Manager’. I worked my way up from a trainee slot technician. Taking the risk to leave England behind and work & travel on cruise ships was the best move I ever made!. Why should you listen to me? My history of ships I had employment on is listed at the bottom of this page.
So what can you expect working on a cruise ship?
Well for a start there’s the travel! I’d have to say its easier to tell you where I havn’t been than where I have been. I’d still like to visit Japan, South Africa, South America & China.
I had great fun in the Carribean, In addition to beautiful hot sandy beaches I learn’t to SCUBA Dive, I went on trips in small boats ‘island hopping’ for the day and enjoy the culture and food of the carribean islands!
I also got to travel around Europe. I’ve been to Russia, Copenhagen, Monte Carlo, Austrailia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, in fact just too many ports of call to mention! It’s was all a life changing experience & I got to make lots of new friends and enjoy life to the fullest!
Your food & board is paid for. As in any job you will have the option of promotion & a better wage. If you have a friendly easy going personality a career on cruise ships awaits you! You’ll meet people from many different nationalities who you’ll be working with.
In my “about me” page I describe living & working on ships as being like living in a big tin can with up to 50 different nationalities!
